Marion Neira Faro lives and works in Toulouse. She was born in Cahors in the Lot (south of France) but she spent her early childhood in French Polynesia, Tahiti. Back in France, she quickly took an artistic path between music and painting.
She studied in Paris at the Ecole Boulle, then at the Arts Décoratifs of Paris and she finished her studies in Toulouse as an architect.
In Toulouse she exhibited for the first time one year ago. Since then, she continues to travel around “la ville rose” and its surroundings to share her creations in different cultural places.
Her artistic inspirations take root in many cultures Maori, Peruvian, African and Indian cultures. She is also influenced by the work of artists such as Niki De Saint Phalle, Antoni Tapiès and Damien Hirst.
The creative act is an outlet that allows to meet the accidents of life with the joy of colors. The repetition of the gesture through the dots, the circle, the dotted line imposes a rhythm, a continuous music like that of traumatic memories. This music, which comes to be associated with the effervescence of shades and colored tones, is all the game of her painting, that of confronting opposite feelings in the same space.
For her, painting is a sensation from where she is interested in plastic research, material and colors.
